  JOSHUA TREE, CA Jacqueline Joanne (Clemens) Bowers, 77, formerly of Myerstown 
  passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011, at the High Desert Medical Center in 
  Joshua Tree, Calif. She was the wife of the Late Richard S. Bowers, Sr., who 
  died in 2004. Born in Lebanon on January 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the 
  late Carl E. and Helen M. Beard Clemens. Jacqueline graduated from Lebanon 
  High School in 1951. She worked as a diet coordinator for the Good Samaritan 
  Hospital. She was also an active member of the Lebanon Moravian Church as well 
  as the Friendship Fire Co. Surviving is a son, George C. Bowers and wife, 
  Linda and live in Millsboro, Del.; and a daughter, Deana and husband, Duane 
  Daly of Joshua Tree, Calif.; and five grandchildren, Christopher Bowers and 
  Helen Bowers, children to George and Linda, Jason Bowers, Matthew Bowers, and 
  Kerri Bowers, children of Richard, Jr.; two brothers, Albert T. Clemens of 
  Lebanon, and Raymond A. Clemens of Myerstown; and a sister, Nadine V., wife of 
  George Lyons of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard S. 
  Bowers, Jr.; and two brothers, Carl G. and William S. Clemens. Memorial 
  services will be held at 11 a.m. on September 7, 2011, from the Moravian 
  Church, 1115 Birch Road Lebanon, PA 17042. Inurnment will be held at 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 
  a.m. prior to the service at the church.
