  Thomas B. Bowman Jr. 
  
  MT. GRETNA Thomas B. Bowman, Jr., 65, of 307 3rd St., died in his sleep on 
  Thursday, February 24, 2011, in his home. Born in Lebanon, on June 21, 1945, he 
  was the son of Thomas B. Bowman, Sr. of Cleona and the late Jane V. Eby Bowman. 
  He began his career as a Police Officer for Palmyra Borough, worked as a 
  Standard Cost Analyst at Bethlehem Steel, Lebanon, a Photographer for the 
  Lebanon Daily News, and retired as a Newspaper Reporter and Photographer for 
  the Harrisburg Patriot News. Tom served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a 
  1963 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School, attended Keystone Junior College, 
  and graduated with a degree in English from Lebanon Valley College. He was a 
  Ham Radio Operator with the handle WA3REY, was an avid dog lover, especially 
  Magoo, his Bulldog, and enjoyed working, and using and repairing computers. 
  Surviving, in addition to his father, are a son, Mark T. Bowman of Mt. Gretna; 
  two sisters, Elizabeth J. Bowman of Bethel and Margaret L. Bowman of Cleona; a 
  nephew, Joseph Firoozmand of Cleona; and former wife and friend, Sylvia Ferry 
  Bowman of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas B. Bowman, III. 
  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer 
  Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in 
  Hill Church Cemetery, Cleona. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10 to 11 
  a.m. at the funeral home.
