  DENVER Anna M. Boyer, 85, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Conestoga 
  View Nursing Home, Lancaster. She was born in Millway to the late Jacob B. and 
  Ruth (Eitnier) Turner and was the wife of Lester Boyer, who passed away in 
  1994. Anna was a member of Bergstrasse Lutheran Church, Ephrata. She was also a 
  member of Ephrata VFW Ladies Aux., Ephrata American Legion Ladies Aux., Ephrata 
  Amvets Ladies Aux., and Ephrata Fire Company Ladies Aux. Anna volunteered at 
  Lebanon and Coatsville VA, and enjoyed sewing and baking, especially sandtarts. 
  She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
  During her working years, she worked for Fleet Air Corporation and retired from 
  Science Press, Ephrata. Anna is survived by her children, Ruth Mummert of 
  Maryland, Barbara A., wife of Walter Fink of Denver, Darlene, wife of Barry 
  Kreider of Ephrata, Emerson Strickler, husband of Mary Anne of Sinking Spring, 
  Betty Evans of Ephrata, Sharon Witman of Lebanon, and Robert Strickler, husband 
  of Anita of Newmanstown; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a great-
  great-grandchild; seven brothers; and two sisters. In addition to her parents 
  and second husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William 
  Strickler in 1944. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, from 6 to 8 
  p.m. and on Thursday, July 7, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Roseboro Stradling 
  Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver, followed by her funeral service at 10 
  a.m. Thursday with Pastor Lohr. Interment will take place in the Millbach 
  Community Cemetery.
