  QUENTIN Genevieve L. Boyer, 85, died Saturday, October 1, 2011, at the Ephrata 
  Community Hospital. She was the wife of Paul J. Boyer, to whom she would have 
  been married 65 years on December 14. Born in Union Twp., on January 2, 1926, 
  she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mae I. (Lash) Smith. An active 
  member of Quentin United Church of Christ, she taught Sunday school for many 
  years, had been a former deacon, an elder, and served on the worship 
  committee. She had also been a member of the former Ladies Auxiliary of the 
  Quentin Fire Co. and enjoyed crafts and making gingerbread houses. In addition 
  to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Gloria Rott of Lebanon; sons, 
  Paul J., Jr. husband of Linda Boyer of Quentin, Craig husband of Kay Boyer of 
  Cornwall, Kevin husband of Dianne Boyer of Quentin and Keith Boyer of Quentin; 
  10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; 
  sister, Geraldine wife of Raymond Dundore of Quentin; several nieces and 
  nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arlington Smith. A 
  Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, October 16, 2011, at 3 p.m. 
  from Quentin United Church of Christ, 11 Main St., Quentin. Interment will be 
  at the convenience of the family.  Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown has been 
  entrusted with the arrangements.
