  NEWMANSTOWN Jean M. Brehm Brendel, 79, formerly of Philadelphia and Hamburg, 
  died Saturday, October 22, 2011, at the M. S. Hershey Medical Center, Derry 
  Twp., Dauphin Co. She was the wife of Kenneth M. Brendel of Hamburg whom she 
  married on December 23, 2009, and the late Robert Brehm and Charles Chavanne. 
  Born in Philadelphia, on October 28, 1931, she was the daughter of the late 
  Peter and Jenny (Caruso) Iaccarino. She was employed by the American National 
  Can Co., Fairless Hills, for over 20 years. Along with husband Robert Brehm, 
  she also co-owned two pizza shops, a catering business, and ice cream store in 
  Burlington, N.J. Most recently, she worked in the dietary departments of the 
  Caron Foundation, Wernersville, and White Deer Run, Lebanon. She enjoyed 
  cooking and spending time with friends and family. In addition to her husband, 
  she is survived by a daughter, Michelle Chavanne of Newmanstown fiancee of 
  Michael Weirich of Lickdale; son, Carl husband of Debra Chavanne of Warner 
  Robins, Ga.; grandchildren, Ina Spicer wife of Kohei Watanabe, Nicole wife of 
  Kevin Skinner, Christopher husband of Lauren Chavanne; great-grandchildren, 
  Amanda Spicer, Candice Harmon, Brendan Skinner, Mila Watanabe; sister, 
  Francine Allonardo of Philadelphia; brother, Anthony husband of Rosemary 
  Iaccarino of Roxborough. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at 
  Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Services and interment 
  will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National 
  Cemetery, Annville.
