Brenneman, Jr., 66, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at his home. He was born on Sunday, August 20, 1944, to John C. Brenneman, Sr. and Marion Brenneman nee Behney in Elizabeth, N.J. He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Army in the Vietnam Conflict. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1962 and worked at Foodland for 22 years in the produce department. John enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be sadly missed by friends and family. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are sister, Sandy Hostetter, Berwick; nephews, Michael Hostetter, Nederland, Texas, Andrew spouse of Lori Hostetter, Huber Heights, Ohio, Timothy spouse of Heather Hostetter, Berwick; and a niece, Julie spouse of Tim Abernathy, Belleville, Ill. Visitation will be on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
