Brown LEBANON Max Arnold Brown, 87, of 176 Hearthstone Lane, died Sunday, May 29, 2011, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary Eloise Parr Brown ,to whom he was married 62 years. Born in Pontiac, Mich., on March 8, 1924, he was the son of the late Leroy N. and Alice Stephens Brown. He was employed as a climate control technician for D.J. Parr, Inc., Lebanon, and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Max was a 1942 graduate of the University School, Shaker Heights, Mich., and attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He was a member of the Annville-Cleona Kiwanis Club and the Annville VFW Post. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Timothy P., husband of Terri V. Brown of Lebanon/Manheim; a daughter, Anne D. Leary of Stuttgart, Germany; two grandchildren, Alexandre M. Leary and Nicholas P. Brown; and a sister, Anne Brown Thompson of Vero Beach, Fla. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville, was in charge of arrangements.
