  Anna E. Bucher 
   
  PALMYRA Anna E. Bucher (nee Hicks), 92, wife of the late Eugene S. Bucher, 
  died Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. 
  Born in Philipsburg, on October 10, 1919, Anna was the daughter of the late 
  Harry M. and Elizabeth Blake Hicks. She was a long-time resident of Delaware 
  and Pennsylvania. She worked as a Nurses Aide for the Delaware State Hospital 
  and was a lifelong member of the United Church of Christ of Annville. Anna is 
  survived by two sons, Eugene S. Bucher, Jr. and wife, Karen of Lady Lake, 
  Fla., and William J. Bucher and wife, Teresa of Newark, Del.; and daughter, 
  Lisa, wife of Ronald Salkiewicz of Painesville, Ohio. She is also survived by 
  seven grandchildren, John (Traci) Salkiewicz, Brian (Alisha) Bucher, Jennifer 
  (Robert) Lee, Carolyn Bucher, Krista Tighe, Andrew (Jessica) Salkiewicz, and 
  Chuck Bucher; 10 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, and Logan Salkiewicz, 
  Emily, Joseph, Robert, and Brian Jr. Bucher, Sebastian Lee, Mercedes Richter, 
  and Ambree Salkiewicz; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and 
  nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Harry, William, John, 
  Leonard, Walter, and James Hicks; and two sisters, Evelyn Unger and Rae 
  J. "Betty" Anspach. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011, 
  at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, at 11:30 
  a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Norman B. Bucher, Jr. officiating. Interment will be at 
  the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday 
  evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the 
  service at the funeral home.
