Leonard (Bruno) Joseph Butkus, 72, was born on March 9, 1939, a son of the late Joseph Butkus and Mildred Butkus. He went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at the Reading Hospital. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Ruth Marie Butkus, and a sister, Christine Innes. He is survived by his brother, Alvin Butkus and his wife; his son, Wayne Butkus and his wife; two daughters, Deborah DiSimone and her husband, and Trixie Meilutis and her husband; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends - just too many to count. He was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1957, a member of the United States Army from 1957 to 1962, and retired from Dana Parish Corporation in September 2000. He was a member of the Adamstown VFW and a devoted member of the Sweet Arrow Rod and Gun Club in Camp Strauss, Fredericksburg. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at 7 p.m. at St. Jacobs Kimmerlings Church, which is located at 1 St. Jacobs Drive, Lebanon, for all who would like to celebrate his life.
