  ORMOND BEACH, FL Mary Byle was called to heaven Thursday, March 24, 2011. She 
  was born February 2, 1927, in Lebanon, to Owen and Ester Slaughter. She was 
  preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert Byle. She is survived by 
  her loving son, Christopher Byle, Sr., and fiancee, Wanda Morford; and six 
  beautiful grandchildren, Christopher Byle, Jr. and wife, Martha; Candaice Byle 
  and fiance, Justin Thorn, Bobby Byle, Sarah Thompkins, Angela Primavere and 
  Christina Davis; eight adoring great-grandchildren, Taylor, Gabriella, Dean, 
  Madison, Mercedez, Justin, Raelin and Paige. Mary spent much of her time 
  dedicated to her church, Faith Lutheran, where she was a member of the choir. 
  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing bridge with her 
  friends. She was employed by Nelson and Selwitz the last ten years. She was a 
  true friend and a blessing to the many lives she touched. She will be greatly 
  missed by her family, friends and co-workers.The memorial service will be held 
  at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church, 2010 S.R. 40, in 
  Ormond Beach, Fla.  Arrangements under the direction of Volusia Memorial 
  Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, Fla.
