  Mary Cardozo 
  
  PALMYRA Mary Cardozo, 83, mother and grandmother passed away on September 26, 
  2011, at Twin Oaks Nursing Home surrounded by family. She was preceded in 
  death by her husband, William, on September 23, 1995. Mary was born in 
  Jefferson, Wisconsin on May 6, 1928. She was a PBX operator with Wisconsin 
  Bell, Ship to shore operator with Union Oil and rose to Director of 
  Communications at a local hospital in So. California. She was an active member 
  of the Church with CCD/Prep, Eucharistic Ministry, as well as Prison 
  Ministries. She had a great sense of humor and was a very caring person. She 
  touched the lives of many people and hoped to leave you with a smile. She will 
  be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter Michele; son-in-law, Mike; 
  and three grandchildren, Michael, Anthony and Robert. A memorial service will 
  be held at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., 
  Palmyra, PA 17078, on Saturday October 1, 2011. Family and friends are invited 
  for visitation from 10 a.m. until the start of the memorial services at 11 
  a.m.
