  WALDECK Julia Carpenter, 92, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in the Stoneridge 
  Towne Centre, Myerstown. She was the wife of Walter Carpenter, Jr. who died on 
  May 12, 2011. She was born December 27, 1928 in Mt. Carmel, a daughter of the 
  late John and Roslyn Piech Hozella. She was a member of the Sacred Heart of 
  Jesus Catholic Church in Cornwall. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon wife 
  of James Horst of Schaefferstown; grandchildren, James J. Horst of 
  Schaefferstown, Dr. Julie Horst of Connecticut, Andrew J. Carpenter of Waldeck; 
  brother, John Hozella of Minersville; sister, Mary Bosask of San Francisco, 
  Calif. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Carpenter; sisters, Stella 
  Player, Olga Rettew and Anna Plamar. Mass of Christian Burial will be 
  celebrated on Monday, June 6, at 10 a.m. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic 
  Church, Cornwall. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the 
  church parish center. Interment will be made in the Holy Savior Cemetery, 
  Cornwall.  Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. is handling her arrangements.
