  PALMYRA Janet Louise (McGee) Cassel, 67, passed away peacefully with her family 
  by her side, on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. She was born Sunday, March 5, 1944 in 
  Lebanon to the late Paul and Delores (Luttman) Whitman-McGee. She was 
  predeceased by her loving husband, Robert L. Cassel, Sr. in 2007. She retired 
  from Lebanon County Vo-Tech, enjoyed NASCAR, movie days, camping, and 
  gardening, taking great pride in her vine ripened tomatoes. She enjoyed 
  traveling to Las Vegas, Disney World and Canada, also listening to Patsy Cline, 
  Elvis and the Beatles. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother who 
  will be greatly missed. She is survived by two sons, Robert L Cassel, Jr. and 
  wife Elizabeth of Palmyra and Scot A. Cassel and wife Shannon of Palmyra; a 
  stepdaughter, Lisa Skishelly of Palmyra; five grandchildren, Adalee and 
  Nathaniel Cassel, Meira Copenhaver, and Amy and Megan Skishelly; two sisters, 
  Anna Deaven wife of Lloyd and Peg Chernick and husband Gene of Lebanon; two 
  aunts, Betty San Martin and Jean Cool; an uncle, Nick Luttman. She was 
  predeceased by a step father, Leon Whitman. A Memorial Service will be held 
  Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 
  Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with Pastor Samuel Fry officiating. Family 
  and friends are invited for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of the service. 
  Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. In lieu of flowers, 
  memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
