M. shabodeho@aol.com July 9, 2011, 10:45 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on July 7, 2011 Mei Yung Cheng LEBANON Mei Yung Cheng, 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Cedar Haven. He was the husband of Ying Ying Li and on April 10, 2011, they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Born in Fuzhou, China, on October 2, 1934, he was the son of the late Lai Zhen Cheng and Shui Ying Zhou. He had worked as a Seaman and Chef, loved gardening, and wasn't afraid of hard work. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kwun Chak Cheng and his wife, Michelle of Pottsville, Kwan Fang Cheng and his wife, Piyen of Lebanon, Justin Cheng and his wife, Amanda of Lebanon, and Henry Cheng and his wife, May of Lebanon; daughters, Wendy Lo, wife of Sau Ming of Allentown, and Sherry Wong, wife of Oliver of Rochester Hills, Mich.; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. Viewing will be at 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at the Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, Ebenezer.
