Clews, 72, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011, in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Kay L. Klader Clews. He was born in Centralia, on June 5, 1938, son of the late Elmer and Anna Levan Clews. He was a 1956 graduate of Milton Hershey High School and was a retired pipefitter for Hershey Chocolate Co. He was the founding member of the It Don't Matter Hunting Camp located in Juniata County. Robert is survived by his sons: Mike Clews and his wife Elizabeth, Lebanon and Thomas B. Clews and his wife Brenda, Lebanon; grandsons: Eric Clews, Lebanon, Michael R. Clews and his wife Britan, Lincoln, Del., and Thomas B. Clews Jr., Lebanon; granddaughters: Jennifer and her husband Matt Ditzler, Cleona and Talia Clews, Lebanon; great- grandson: Mason Clews; great-granddaughter Kayln Clews; brothers: Walt Clews, Ralph Clews, Eugene Clews and Rev. John Weyman; sisters: Shirley Clements and Louise Shutter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a viewing to be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Private graveside services will be held in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
