M. shabodeho@aol.com November 1, 2011, 11:28 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on October 25, 2011 Vesline Dabich LEBANON Veslin Dabich, 85, died Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Cedar Haven. He was the husband of Shirley L. (Achey) Dabich, to whom he would have been married 50 years on December 30. Born in Lebanon on January 29, 1926, he was the son of the late Michael and Lena (Vellura) Dabich. He was a 1944 graduate of Lebanon High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as a security guard at Hershey Foods for 12 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Resurrection of Christ Serbian Orthodox Church, Lebanon; Goodwill Fire Co., Myerstown; Richland American Legion; and the Lebanon VFW. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Melanie wife of Les Doster of Lebanon, Sherri Dabich wife of Perry Beck of Richland, Shirley M. wife of Bryan Massar of Lebanon; grandchildren, PFC Jay Doster, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp., Chelsea Doster, Pvt. Holden Dabich, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp., Hannah Beck, Tyler and Shirley Massar; sister, Mildred Hoshower of Cleona; brothers, Robert Dabich of Lebanon and Mishi Dabich of Alpine, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 4, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. The family will receive friends Friday at 10 a.m. Interment with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
