"Peg" Daub, 89, went to be with the lord on Friday, May 20, 2011, in Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was married to Harold R. Daub, Sr. who passed away in 1978. Born in Jefferson Twp., she was the daughter of the late Charles N. and Amy B. (Kramer) Blatt. Peg was a seamstress at various locations also a supervisor in the laundry department at Lantern Lodge in Myerstown until her retirement. Peg was a member of St. Michael's Church in Tilden Twp. Peg was a master quilter. She enjoyed her collection of cardinals and also enjoyed motorcycling riding. Peg loved to participate in all types of activities with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Peg is survived by her "Little Farmer" friend, Harold Eisenhauer of Lebanon. Also, a son, Curtis L. Daub and wife Judith of Kutztown; two daughters, Anita D., wife of Charles Zimmerman of Wolmelsdorf and Nancy Jane, wife of Bennie Yearta of Vale, N.C.; two sisters, Arlene Kline of Hamburg and Pauline Valentine of Ellisburg; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great- grandchildren. Peg was predeceased by four sons, Harold R. Jr., Marvin R., Kenneth H., and Glenn E. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, with Rev. Paul Buzzard officiating. Interment will follow in Strausstown Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Assoc.
