Erla L. Deck 

CORNWALL Erla L. Deck, 95, died on Monday, January 10, 2011, at Cornwall Manor. 
She was born on Monday, November 8, 1915, to the late Harry Knapp and Bertha 
Knapp nee Thompson in Fredericksburg. Erla was the bookkeeper and secretary for 
her husband's businesses, which included local contractor and Deck Acres 
Campground. She was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a 
former Sunday School teacher and former choir member; a member of the Mary 
Circle at church; former member of the Antique Car Club of America; and life 
member and past president of the Lebanon Women's Club; GSH Auxiliary for many 
years. Erla was also a life member of Senior Center of Lebanon Valley. 
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, 
Henry J. Deck; sister, Lessie Wagner-Knapp; brother, Victor Knapp; sister, 
Phyllis Ninkovich; and brother, Mark Knapp. Graveside services will be the 
convenience of the family. Memorial services will be held at a later date. 
Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 
Memorial Fund, 119 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Christman's Funeral Home, 
Inc. is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
