  MYERSTOWN Joseph A. DiMagno, 98, of Myerstown, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 
  2011 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Yolanda "Helen" 
  (Mattioli) DiMagno. Joseph was born in Carpinento Roman, Italy, on June 19, 
  1912, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Maria (Calvano) DiMagno. He was a 
  member of St. Mary's Church in Lebanon and the National Association of Retired 
  Federal Employees. He retired from the Lebanon VA Hospital after 21 years of 
  service, after retirement he worked for a number of years at Spang Crest Manor. 
  He enjoyed bowling and traveling. He is survived by two children, Mary Ann 
  Hartman, of Harrisburg; Joseph G. DiMagno, of Myerstown; three grandchildren, 
  Diane (Hartman), wife of Andrew Graff, of N.C.; Edward, husband of Christine 
  Hartman, of Killingworth, Conn.; Andrea (Hartman), wife of Jeffrey Dietz, of 
  Harrisburg; three great-grandchildren: Ethan Graff, Bret Dietz and Derek Dietz; 
  a brother, Raymond, husband of Frances DiMagno, of Va.; a sister, Martha, wife 
  of George Freeland, of Hershey; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded 
  in death by a brother, Saverio "Sam" DiMagno; two sisters, Linda Casciotti and 
  Mafalda "Muffie" Dietrich; also a great-grandson, infant Jason Dietz. Funeral 
  Mass 10 a.m. Saturday from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon, 17046. 
  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at 
  Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, 17042 and Saturday from 
  9:30 to 10 a.m. at the church.
