Dove, 78, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. He was the husband of Fayetta Schriver Dove to whom he was married for 56 years. They would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on July 17, 2011. Born in Meckville, Bethel Twp. on January 30, 1933, he was the son of the late Charles and Mapha Southerly Dove Walters. Stanley was a graduate of Jonestown High School, was a lineman with Bell Telephone for 35 years; was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Japan during the Korean War and was in Pennsylvania Air National Guard serving for 30 years. He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church at Ft. Indiantown Gap, was a member of the Schellsville VFW and the Fredericksburg American Legion. Stan also was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved camping. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Dorinda Dove, wife of Ron Ozer of Arden, Del.; two sons, David Dove and wife Renee of Salinas, Calif., and Douglas Dove of Annville; six grandchildren Zachariah Dove and wife Patricia, Solomon, Elijah and Tirzah Dove and Lily and Emily Ozer; six sisters, Kathryn Herr of Jonestown, Margaret Vanover of TN, Annabell Perando of MD, Betty, wife of Stanley Yancey, and Louise, wife of Buddy Schwartz, both of Jonestown, and Wendy, wife of Kevin Kleinfelter of Lebanon. Stan was preceded in death by a son Daryle Dove, a brother, Robert Dove, and a sister, Jean Haldeman. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home and Crematory Rt. 72 and Campmeeting Rd. Jonestown. Burial will be held in Lemberger's Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp. Viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of the arrangements.
