  Leona M. Eckert 
  
  CONEWAGO TWP. Leona M. Warner Eckert, 93, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011, 
  at her home. Born in Cave, W.Va., on May 3, 1918, she was the daughter of the 
  late Allen and Maude Mullenax Warner. Leona was a homemaker. She played the 
  organ and piano by ear and enjoyed flower gardening, plants, and wildlife. 
  Leona loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-
  grandchildren. Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Eckert, 
  on November 20, 2000; five brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by 
  three sons, Harold F. Eckert, Jr., husband of Flo of Palmyra, Norman Eckert, 
  and Bruce Eckert, husband of Phyllis, both of Elizabethtown; three 
  grandchildren, Lanette Eckert of Elizabethtown, Jeffrey Eckert, husband of 
  Susan of Hummelstown, and Natalie Wagner, wife of Brad of Manheim; and five 
  great-grandchildren, Allen Scholl of Hershey, Roman Wagner, Avery Wagner, and 
  Wade Wagner, all of Manheim, and Tessa Eckert of Hummelstown. Funeral services 
  will be held Monday, August 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral 
  Home, Inc., 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown, with The Rev. Jean M. Ward 
  officiating. Interment will be in the United Christian Cemetery, Campbelltown. 
  Friends are invited to the viewing Monday in the funeral home from 10 a.m. 
  until time of the services.
