Emrich, 85, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Spang Crest Manor. She was the wife of the late Wallace W. Emrich. Marilyn was born in Lebanon on December 8, 1925, a daughter of the late J. Raymond and Georgina (Bastin) Hartnett. She was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and a member of St. Mary's Church, Lebanon. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and collecting music boxes, teddy bears and Disney memorabilia. She is survived by three children, Carol A. wife of Michael R. Lear of Winter Haven, Fla., Sr. Sandra M. Emrich of Pittsburgh, Michael J. Emrich of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Scott M. Lear, Bryan E. Lear, Edward F. Emrich and Andrew J. Emrich; a sister, Eleanor Houser, of Lebanon; a daughter-in-law, Cori Emrich of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward R. Emrich. Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St. Lebanon 17046. Interment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Viewing hours Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon 17042 and Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
