Englebach, 71, died Sunday, December 25, 2011, in the York Hospital. He was the husband of Jacquelyn Eshleman Englebach to whom he was married to for 39 years. Born in Lebanon on October 20, 1940, he was the son of the late Harry and Laura Yeich Englebach. He was a 1958 graduate of Palmyra High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in the military police. Larry was a laborer employed by Hershey Foods in the 19 East Facility for 43 years and after retirement worked part-time for Frederick's of Lebanon as a driver. He was a member of the Campbelltown American Legion, Palmyra Sportsman Club and the Hummelstown Optimist Club. He was a former member and post quartermaster and commander of the VFW Post 6417 in Palmyra. He also served as former president, secretary/ treasurer and Lt. Governor and was a life member of the Lebanon Optimist Club, coached teener baseball for the VFW Post 6417 in Palmyra, was an avid hunter, Penn State fan and enjoyed tailgating before the games. He also enjoyed spending time at his "Penn State Hideaway" in Sullivan County and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Craig Edward Englebach and wife, Rebekah of Dover; a daughter Kim Marie wife of Shawn Hartzell of Lebanon; and four grandsons, Samuel and Seth Hartzell and Isaac and Levi Englebach. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, E. Hanover Twp. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the services at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is in charge of the arrangements.
