  John L. Ernfield 
  
  MYERSTOWN John L. Ernfield, 70, of Myerstown, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at 
  the M. S. Hershey Medical Center. Born in Jackson Twp., on July 1, 1940, he was 
  the son of the late James V. Ernfield and Bertha M. Brown. He was a 1958 
  graduate of Myerstown High School and served in the U.S. Marines. He was 
  employed by Quaker Alloy, Myerstown, for over 20 years and later retired from 
  Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry after several years of employment. An avid 
  outdoor sportsman, he operated John's Gun Refinishing for over 40 years and 
  enjoyed hunting. He was a member of the Goodwill and Mt. Aetna Fire Companies 
  and was a life member of Myerstown VFW Post 6076. He is survived by a son, 
  Scott J. Ernfield of Myerstown; granddaughter, Tylyn M. Ernfield of Narvon; 
  step daughter, Kelly S. wife of Richard Smith of Myerstown; brother, Harry 
  husband of Beverly Ernfield of Myerstown; sisters, Kathleen wife of Allen Weik 
  of Myerstown, Lorretta wife of Kenneth Stamm of Seaford, Del., Jeannette wife 
  of Clifford Yeakley of Bethel, Constance wife of Thomas Shaak of Myerstown; 
  many nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the 
  family. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, has been entrusted with the 
  arrangements.
