Fake INVERNESS, FL Evelyn Margaret Fake (Evie), 88, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011, in Inverness, Fla. with her loving family by her side. Evelyn was married to the love of her life, the late Quentin R. Fake. She was born on September 7, 1922, in Myerstown, the daughter of the late Stanley Kleinfelter and Ida (Keller) Kleinfelter. Evelyn was a 1940 graduate of Lebanon High School. During her youth, Evelyn was also a member of the girls V.F.W. Drum Corp. for five years and a traveling dance troupe. She had worked at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation during World War II and later Everite Knitting Mills and the San Giorgio Corporation. She enjoyed being a member of the Ladies Bible Class at the Cornwall United Methodist Church as well as the Quentin Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Evelyn was a wonderful cook and baker. It gave her such pleasure to make baked goods for everyone to enjoy. In addition to her culinary skills, she was a talented knitter and seamstress. Evelyn, with some friends, formed a "hen" party club which they continued for many years. Evelyn was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed. Evelyn is survived by a son, Ronald Q. Fake and his wife, Carole, of Beverly Hills, Fla.; a daughter, Sharon L. Pineda and her husband, Steve, of Lecanto, Fla., and daughter, Kathy S. Herr and her husband, Leonard Herr, of Woodstock, Ga.; two grandchildren, David R. Fake and his wife, Leigh Anne, of Seaford, Del., and Pamela L. Szal and her husband, Ryan of Womelsdorf. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, following the service.
