"Mick" Fisher, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at The Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was born on May 9, 1936, in Lower Swatara Twp., to the late John V. and Anna Mary (Deimler) Fisher. He and his loving wife Donna (Epler) Jurell Fisher would have celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary on July 20th. Harvey was the owner/operator of the former Harvey M. Fisher & Sons Excavating. He was a member of the Sand Hill Lions Club, a Dauphin County 4-H Leader, and a volunteer at the Campbelltown Carnivals. His hobbies included archery, hunting, jigsaw puzzles, woodworking in his shop, and he loved John Deere Tractors. In addition to his wife he is survived by six children, Charlotte J. Bixler and husband, Gary, Kevin L. Shope and wife, Shirley, Brenda K. Hevel and husband, John, all of Middletown, Dale B. Fisher of Palmyra, William D. Jurell and wife, Sharon of Campbelltown, Brian R. Jurell and wife, Susan of Palmyra; 11 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; four brothers, Norman Fisher and wife Faye of Middletown, Leroy Fisher and wife, Betty, Ralph Fisher and wife, Arlene, both of Hummelstown, Donald Fisher and wife, Goldie of Wellsville; three sisters, Alma Hyde of Hershey, Lucille Houser of Elizabethtown, and Belva Sheaffer and husband, Don of Hummelstown. He was predeceased by his first wife, Catherine I. "Kay" Bright Shope Fisher; and four siblings, John D. Fisher, Mildred Gipe, Fern Williams, and Wilbur Fisher. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Monday, July 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078, with Pastor Glen Bennage officiating. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
