  Ruth N. Fisher 
   
  LEBANON Ruth N. Fisher, 90, of 25 Berbec Ave., died Thursday, December 8, 
  2011, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Richard D. 
  Fisher, who died in 1996. Born in Bellefonte, on April 28, 1921, she was the 
  daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Newpher. She worked as a Registered Nurse 
  for Bethlehem Steel, Lebanon, for 20 years and also at the Good Samaritan 
  Hospital. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lebanon, the 
  Lebanon Women's Club, and was an avid Penn State fan. Surviving are a son, 
  John R. Fisher of Denver, Colo.; and two nephews, Marty Schreckengast of 
  Bellefonte and Tom Taylor of Las Vegas, Nev. She was preceded in death by two 
  sisters, Martha Schreckengast and Louise Taylor; and her in-laws, Fred and 
  Clara Fisher. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011, 
  at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., 
  Annville. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in 
  Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11 
  a.m. prior to the service.
