G. Alan Flammer 

SCHAEFFERSTOWN G. Alan Flammer, 71, died on Friday, January 7, 2011, at M.S. 
Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Sunday, April 16, 1939, to the late 
Gilbert A. Flammer and Julia Flammer nee Saemmer in Bethlehem. He was an active 
member of Living Waters Chapel. He worked as an inspector for Western Electric. 
Al also owned an antique shop. Surviving are wife, LaRue J. Flammer nee 
Woodring of Schaefferstown; daughters, Marion Jean Varec of Emmaus, Barbara 
Walker of Allentown, and Debbie Walker of Allentown; son, Richard Flammer of 
Allentown; stepchildren, Derrell Kutz, Darrell Kutz, Timothy Kutz, and Jan 
Zito; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Joanne Gambler; 
and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be on Sunday, January 
16, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Living Waters Chapel, 1900 Jay St., Lebanon. Inurnment 
will be at the convenience of the family. Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is 
honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
