  Clifford R. Freeman 
   
  LEBANON Clifford R. Freeman, 96, passed away in Spang Crest Manor Nursing Home 
  on Sunday, September 4, 2011. He was married to Ethel M. Miller Freeman on 
  August 21, 1937. He was born in Pottsville, on August 8, 1915, a son of the 
  late Roy and Lillian Hahn Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a machine operator in the 
  Die Setting department at Bethlehem Steel, where he retired in 1977. He was a 
  member of the Rescue Fire Company, Moravian Church, served on the Board of 
  Trustees at the church, and with the Men's Brotherhood as Treasurer. He was 
  also a member of the church bowling team, served as custodian at the church 
  for 37 years, and as caretaker of the cemetery. He loved woodworking, making 
  Moravian Stars for the church. Surviving are his wife; a son, Royce L., 
  husband of Christine Freeman, and a daughter, Carolyn J., wife of Frank 
  Ceresini, Jr., both of Lebanon; grandchildren, Ashley and Adelle Freeman, and 
  Frank, III and David Ceresini; great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, and 
  Brittany Ceresini; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 
  brothers, Keith, Gerald, and Sterling Freeman. Funeral services will be held 
  in the Moravian Church of Lebanon, 1115 Birch Road, Lebanon, PA 17042 on 
  Friday at 2 p.m. A viewing will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. 
  Interment will be in the Moravian Church Cemetery.  The Rohland Funeral Home 
  Inc., Lebanon, is in charge of the arrangements. The family extends their 
  appreciation to the staff at Spang Crest Manor for the excellent care that 
  they extended to Clifford.
