  Eden D. Fry 
  
  PALMYRA Eden D. Fry, 91, formerly of Mechanicsburg, died Monday, December 5, 
  2011, at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home. His loving wife of 71 years, 
  Rosemary Heisey Fry, was by his side when he passed away. Born in Annville, on 
  June 10, 1920, Eden was the son of the late John B. and Martha B. Shiffer Fry. 
  He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the LST828. He worked 
  many years for Atlantic Richfield in Orbisonia and later in Mechanicsburg. 
  Eden was a devoted family man. Together he and Rosemary raised four children 
  and made many lifelong friends. Later in life he and Rosemary moved to 
  Elizabethtown, where Eden retired in 1986 from Milton Hershey School. There he 
  served as Maintenance Director of Senior Hall. For many years, Eden and 
  Rosemary were relief houseparents at MHS. Eden enjoyed gardening and 
  auctioneering at Manada Hill Auction. He was a member of the Fishburn United 
  Methodist Church in Hershey, the American Legion, and the Pennsylvania and 
  U.S. LST Association. Eden was loved, admired and respected by his four 
  surviving children, Robert Fry, June Fry, Mary Brillhart, and Lois Parker. One 
  of his greatest joys was spending time with his seven grandchildren and four 
  great-grandchildren. He is survived by a brother, Carl Fry, and a sister, 
  Claribel Gingrich. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. 
  Visitation will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home & 
  Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. 
  Interment will be held in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
