  PALMYRA Frederick Donald Geib, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 
  1, 2011 at home. He was born Tuesday, October 8, 1935 in Hershey, to the late 
  Rufus and Pauline Geib. He graduated from Palmyra High School, was a US Air 
  Force Veteran, member of Palmyra American Legion Post #72, and Palmyra VFW 
  Memorial Post #6417. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and had a great, often dry, 
  sense of humor. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He is survived 
  by a son, Freddy R. Geib and wife Cathy of Palmyra and their daughters Chyna 
  and Chelsey Geib; a former wife, Barbara (Herr) Geib of Cleona and children 
  Tommis Carpenter of Gettysburg and his children TJ, Chris, and Kyle, and 
  Siglinda Kreiser of Annville and her children Pete and JC; a sister, Lorna 
  Schwartz; and loyal K9 companion, Little Wolf. Funeral services will be held 
  Saturday at 10 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 
  W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with Rev. Thomas R. Yackley officiating. Family and 
  friends are invited for viewing on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home 
  and from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Burial with full military honors 
  will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
  contributions may be made in his honor to American Heart Association.
