  HALIFAX Clyde E. George, 95, a resident at Columbia Cottage in Annville and 
  formerly of Halifax passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011. He was the widower of 
  Betty A. Stence George. He was born in Newport, the son of the late John and 
  Mary Klinepeter George. Clyde was a retired farmer and a member of Matamoras 
  Community Church in Halifax. Survivors include three sons, David and his wife, 
  Nancy of York, Stephen and his wife, Janet of Annville, Dean and his wife, 
  Karen of Halifax; a daughter, Miriam Florke of Taylors, S.C.; a sister, Martha 
  Lenker of Millersburg; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He was 
  preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.Viewing will be on Friday 
  from 10 to 11 a.m. at Matamoras Community Church with services to follow at 11 
  a.m. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax.  Arrangements by 
  Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg.
