  Lorraine M. Gernert 
  
  QUENTIN Lorraine M. Gernert, 83, died on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Good 
  Samaritan Hospital. She was born on Thursday, February 16, 1928, to the late 
  Herman Hoke and Fannie Hoke nee Kreiser in Quentin. She was a homemaker and 
  mother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, ceremics, and spending time with 
  her family. Surviving are son, Terry, spouse of Polly Gernert of Dushore; 
  daughter, Linda Kane of Lebanon; sons, Dale, spouse of Susie Gernert of 
  Cornwall, Darv, spouse of Sandy Gernert of Fredericksburg, and Doug, spouse of 
  Sue Gernert of Lebanon; daughter, Beverly Gernert of Lebanon; son, Perry 
  Gernert of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one brother; and 
  three sisters. She was preceded in death by husband, Harry Gernert, and son, 
  Edward Gernert. Viewing will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, from 10 to 11 
  a.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral 
  services a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Quentin (Bismarck) 
  Cemetery, Quentin, following the service.  Christman's Funeral Home, Inc. is 
  honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
