  Thomas A. Gipe 
  
  NOKOMIS, FL Thomas Allen Gipe, 74, left this earth for a better home with our 
  Heavenly Father on December 11, 2011. Tom was born in Lebanon, on July 30, 
  1937, to Romaine D. (Feeman) Gipe and Herman E. Gipe. Tom was a graduate of 
  Lebanon Sr. High in 1955. He went into the Navy immediately after graduating. 
  He and his wife, Pat were married in Lebanon, in 1957. In 1961, he began his 
  career as a Golf Professional at Andrews Air Force Base in Md. For the next 25 
  years he maintained Head Golf Professional positions at various golf 
  facilities in the Mid-Atlantic Section. In 1995, he relocated to Nokomis, 
  Fla., where he managed the Osprey Driving Range. In 2001, he ventured into a 
  new career in airplane sales with American Aircraft Sales in Venice, Fla. 
  Survivors include his loving wife, Pat; two daughters, Michelle Madison of 
  Long Beach, Calif., and Renee Guerrisi and husband, Joe of Atlanta, Ga.; three 
  grandchildren, Elan Westman and husband, Jake of Nokomis, Fla., Lexis Guerrisi 
  of Auburn, Ala., and Nicholas Guerrisi of West Layfette, Ind.; three great-
  grandchildren, Harmony, Cole and Brock; and a sister, Susan Berger and 
  husband, Tony of Lebanon. Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, 
  December 19, 2011, at First Baptist of Osprey, 265 N. Tamiami Trail, Osprey, 
  FL 34229, where Tom was a member.
