  LEBANON Melanie I. Glassford, 71, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, in ManorCare, 
  Lebanon. She was the wife of Charles R. Glassford, Jr. to whom she was married 
  for over 40 years. She was born in Philadelphia, on March 9, 1940, a daughter 
  of the late Donald G. and Irene E. Leininger Gingrich. She was a graduate of 
  Lebanon High School class of 1958 and was retired from the Hershey Foods 
  Corporation with over 24 years of service. She was a member of the Church of 
  the Open Door, Lebanon. In addition to her husband she is survived by sisters, 
  Marion Romberger, Annville and Marilyn Ierly, Camp Hill. She was preceded in 
  death by brother, Samuel Felker; and sister, Evelyn Osborne. Funeral services 
  will be Friday at 10 a.m. from the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th & Cumberland Sts., 
  Lebanon where a viewing will begin at 8:30 a.m. Interment will be made in Mt. 
  Lebanon Cemetery.
