Goodling, 63, passed away on Saturday October 15, 2011, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Brenda A. Guerrisi Goodling, and on February 18th, they celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary. Born in Port Trevorton, on December 9, 1947, he was the son of the late Arlin and Helen Sprenkle Goodling. He retired in 2005 from Yellow Freight in E. Petersburg, where he had worked as a Jockey. He served during the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, Jonestown. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and especially loved being with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepmother, June Goodling of Port Trevorton; sons, Chad A. husband of Kim Goodling of Winter Garden, Fla. and Jason C. husband of Tawanea Goodling of Darlington, Md.; daughter, Lisa M. wife of David McDonaldson of Jonestown; brother, Daniel Sprenkle of Port Trevorton; sisters, Nancy Lilley of Lancaster and Lisa Cavanaugh of Shamokin Dam; grandchildren, Kai, Jaden, Geordan, Josh, Spencer and Morgan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clinton L. Hupp. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Viewing will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
