  Ralph E. Griffith 
  
  HUMMELSTOWN Ralph Eugene Griffith, 71, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 
  2011, at his home. Born in West Reading, on October 4, 1939, he was the son of 
  the late Ralph T. and Marie Shade Griffith. Ralph retired as a service manager 
  for Hauck Manufacturing, Cleona. He was a 1958 graduate of Milton Hershey High 
  School and a U.S. Navy veteran. Ralph was an active and devoted member of the 
  Milton Hershey Alumni Association, a member of Bare Meadows Hunting Camp, 
  Lycoming County, and the Mechanicsburg Club. He was an avid sports fan, and 
  enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Ralph is survived by his wife of 48 
  years, Darlene V. Techentine Griffith; two sons, Steven T. Griffith of 
  Hummelstown and Randall E. Griffith of Fairfield, Conn.; a daughter, Christine 
  M. Griffith, fiance of Evzen Wagner of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Conrad 
  Bildstein, husband of Ann of Brookville, Fla., and Galen Griffith, husband of 
  Kathi of Cape Coral, Fla.; two sisters, Peggy Lee, wife of Lloyd of New 
  Jersey, and Diane Franklin of Charlottesville, Va.; and numerous nieces and 
  nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 10 a.m. 
  in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown, with 
  The Rev. John A. Schaefer officiating. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap 
  National Cemetery, East Hanover Township. Viewings will be held in the funeral 
  home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of the 
  service.
