  Dorothy M. Hallman 
  
  HERSHEY Dorothy Marie Hallman, 74, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 
  2011, in Spring Creek Nursing Home, Harrisburg. She was born on December 7, 
  1936, daughter of the late Arthur J and Anna B (Arnold) Copenhaver. Dorothy 
  graduated in 1954 from Hershey High School. Survivng are her husband of 53 
  years, Charles E. Hallman; three children, Steven C., Lorraine F. Barcynski 
  and her husband, John, and Michael E. and his wife, Francine C.; seven 
  grandchildren, Megan, Shaun, C.J and his fiancee, Melissa, Mandee, Andrew, Ky-
  Leigh, and Michelle; one great-granddaughter, Sophia; and two sisters, Pat 
  Brandt and her husband, Roger, and Jo Hetrick. Dorothy and her husband owned 
  Hallman's restaurant for 25 plus years. She was known for her homemade 
  Pennsylvania Dutch cooking and her delicious homemade original pies. Her life 
  long hobbies included cooking, playing with her grandchildren, and traveling. 
  Her favorite destination was Quebec City to be with her friends, Diane and 
  Jacques. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Hoover 
  Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Hershey. Interment will be in Grand View 
  Memorial Park, Annville. Visitation will be held Monday evening at the funeral 
  home, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until time of 
  service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the 
  Alzheimer's Association.
