She was the wife of Joseph H. Harman, Jr. who died September 20, 1989. Born in Mt. Zion, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Hattie (Kline) Spangler. She was a member of Lincoln Park Community United Methodist Church, St. Luke's 50+ Club, Shillington, and the Reading-Berks Rose Society. She was a former chaplain of the former Lincoln Park Senior Citizen's 50+ Club and the past president of DeMolay Commandry #9, West Reading. She worked for Lebanon Shirt Company and also worked for Boscov's West Country Kitchen. She is survived by a son, Ronald L. Harman husband, of Diane L., Sinking Spring; two daughters, Joanne M. wife of Edward F. Teigeler, III, Albuquerque, N.M., and Nancy L. wife of Dean R. Troutman, West Lawn; five grandchildren, Daniel C. Harman, Ryan P. Harman, Edward F. Teigeler IV, Amanda Thomas, and Jennifer L. Gilinger; five great-grandchildren, Gavin, William, Nolan, Zachary, and Alexandra; two step great-grandchildren, Amanda and Jenna. Two brothers, Miles and George Spangler, predeceased her. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Wernersville, with her pastor Rev. Jerry McGrath officiating. Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Zion U.C.C. Cemetery, Lebanon.
