  CRESTON, NC Mr. Jason Thomas Hass, 30, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. 
  Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Boone Family Funeral 
  Home Chapel, West Jefferson, N.C. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial 
  Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at 
  the funeral home. He is survived by his father, Barry Hass; a son, Nathaniel 
  Thomas Barker; his maternal grandmother, Fay Heffner of Richland; a brother, 
  Michael Barry Hass; a sister, Sarah Louise Hass; one niece; two nephews; 
  several aunts and uncles, Thomas Heffner, III of Pennsylvania, Gail Showers of 
  Pennsylvania, Judy and Robert Hartsoe of Creston, and Beverly Copenhaver of of 
  Pennsylvania; and several cousins.
