Heblow, 90, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at the Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late George Heblow. Born in Lebanon, on March 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late David and Annie (Eberhardt) Emerich. Mary was a member of the Lebanon Fire Police Auxiliary; life member of the Independent Auxiliary; VFW; Senior Citizens Center and the Lebanon County Fire Auxiliary. She enjoyed collecting cook books, shopping, walking, going out to dinner and to auctions. She is survived by two children, George M., husband of Hilda Heblow of Lebanon; Leslie, wife of Donald Edwards of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Michael Heblow of Lebanon; Scott Heblow of Harrisburg; Tracey Heblow of Annville; Ericka Mathura of Burtonsville, Md.; Gregory Layser of Oceanside, Calif.; Danielle Horst of Lebanon; six great- grandchildren; one sister, Betty Leese of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marianne Heblow; seven brothers, Frank, Herman, William, David, Arthur, James and George Emerich; and two sisters, Kathryn Carpenter and Nora Fratini. Funeral Service Thursday, September 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, 17042. Interment 11:30 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 Thursday morning at the funeral home.
