M. shabodeho@aol.com June 5, 2011, 10:41 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on June 1, 2011 Betty Mae Heisey MYERSTOWN Betty Mae Heisey, 92, died Sunday, May 29, 2011, in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Donald E. Klinger, who passed away in 1984, and Richard E. Heisey, who passed away in 2007. She was born in Pittsburgh on August 4, 1918, a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Lorean Wagner Shetter. She had been a seamstress for many area companies including Lustberg's and Rose Singer. She was a member of St. Jacob's Kimmerlings Church, a life member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Lebanon VFW Post #23, and a life member of the Mt. Zion Fire Co. She is survived by children, Frances M., wife of Charles Newhouse, James R. and wife, Barbara Klinger, Ronald J. and wife, Theresa Klinger, and Michael E. Klinger; stepson, Richard E. Heisey; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Shetter; and sister, Laverne Kohemon. She was preceded in death by son, Edward Klinger; brothers, James, Russell, John, and Warren Shetter; and sister, Myrtle Vourron. Memorial services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. Jacob's Kimmerlings Church, 1 St. Jacob's Drive, Lebanon 17046. Private interment will be made at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Rohland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
