Heller ANNVILLE Gloria Marie (Brinser) Heller, 76, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Countryside Christian Community, on Saturday, December 10, 2011. She was born Tuesday, January 1, 1935, in Harrisburg to the late Hiram S. and Anna Marie (Duron) Brinser. She was married 57 years to her loving husband Reverend Elwood S. Heller. Gloria was a 1952 graduate of Hershey High School, attendee of Lebanon United Zion Church where she actively served for many years, including teaching Sunday school. She worked as a nursing aid for Nurses Available, Hill Farm, and Alpine. She had a vibrant passion for crocheting, cooking, and reading, particularly books about Amish history. Gloria enjoyed working with her hands and had a knack for fixing things around the house. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by sons, Joseph Heller and Mable Jean Heller, Dale Heller and wife Rosemary, Lynn Heller and wife Julia, Daryl Heller and wife Denise, Elwood M. Heller and wife Christine, and Duane Heller and wife Jamie; daughters, Ann Marie Saylor and husband Dennis, Susan F. Schott and husband Brian, Joann J. Torres and husband Alfonso, Rose Ann Jeffers and husband John, Linda M. Kreiser and husband Dale, and Gloria Jean Gaidos and husband Mike; 49 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Brinser; and sister, Pearl Dissinger. She is predeceased by sister, Joyce E. Dissinger; nephew, Kenneth Dissinger; grandson, Samuel Heller, and great-granddaughter, Alyssa Heller. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Countryside Christian Community, 200 Bellann Court, Annville, PA 17003. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Balsbaugh Church, 56 East Governor Rd., Hershey, PA 17033; with Pastor Elwood M. Heller and Pastor Richard Long officiating and Reverend Gerald Brinser and Reverend Paul Brandt co-officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 9 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in Hanoverdale Cemetery, Hummelstown. Arrangements entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
