  RICHLAND Betty M. Hemperly, 87, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, of natural 
  causes in her residence. She was the wife of Morris B. Hemperly, who died 
  November 16, 1989. Born July 23, 1923, in Reading, she was the daughter of the 
  late Paul F. and Mabel C. (Miller) Gaenzle. She was a graduate of Reading High 
  School, a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Reading, and was the 
  owner of several taverns in Lebanon County. She is survived by three sons, 
  George M, husband of Patricia Gift, Hesston, Terry A., husband of Pauletta 
  Gift, Robesonia, and Gregory A., husband of Debra Gaenzle, Mohnton; nine 
  grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held Monday, 
  April 25, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. from the Hetrick-Mull Funeral Home, Inc., 27 E. 
  High St., Womelsdorf. Interment will be Tuesday, at 11 a.m. in Laureldale 
  Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5 p.m. until time of service at the 
  funeral home.
