  CAMPBELLTOWN Allen Raymond Herr, 97, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, 
  December 28, 2011, in his home. He was predeceased by his loving wife, 
  Beatrice (Alger) Herr, on Tuesday, October 6, 1998. He was born Friday, August 
  21, 1914, in Annville, to the late Otis and Luella Herr. He was a retired 
  electrician with Hershey Electric, member of Campbelltown United Methodist 
  Church, and former active member of Campbelltown Fire Company #2. He was a 
  hard working man, always giving of his talents to those in need. His eye for 
  detail was reflected in his neatly manicured yard, garden, and products of his 
  trade. Most of all, he was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. 
  He is survived by two daughters, Ruth M. Wilson of Hershey, and Carroll J. 
  Foore and husband, Eldred H. of Campbelltown; five grandchildren, David Foore 
  and wife, Lisa, Daniel Foore and wife, Terry, Elizabeth Flury and husband, 
  Craig, Greg Wilson and wife, Kim, and Kevin Wilson and wife, Michelle; 14 
  great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 
  a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at 
  Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 
  17078 with John Alger officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing 
  from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Private burial will follow in Gravel 
  Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
