M. shabodeho@aol.com April 23, 2011, 4:46 pm Published in Lebanon Daily News on April 23, 2011 Robert "Gary" Hoke REXMONT Robert "Gary" Hoke, 75, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at his residence. He was the husband of Mary Louise Wida Hoke. Robert was born in Quentin on July 4, 1935. He was the son of the late Herman and Fannie (Kreiser) Hoke. Robert had worked at the Cornwall Ore Mines and retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. He was a lieutenant of the Cornwall Community Fire Police and was a volunteer for the Quentin Fire Police. He had been a little league baseball coach for CQM. Surviving in addition to his wife, is a son Gary, husband of Mary Ann Hoke of Cornwall; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; one brother, George Hoke; four sisters, Dorothy Fauser, Betty Gernert, Lorraine Gernert, Jean Blair; and many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by two children, Ernest Hoke and Karen Bressler; two brothers, Herman Hoke and Ammon Hoke; and three sisters, Alverta White, Elsie Kless and Louella Diffenderfer. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., is entrusted with the arrangements.
