Hostetter, 81, died Monday March 14, 2011, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Kathryn M. Hawryluk Hostetter with whom he would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this May 12th. Born in Lebanon on June 9, 1929, he was the son of the late Arthur S. and Gertrude Light Hostetter. He retired as the Postmaster of the Cleona Post Office after 50 years of service. Art was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea serving in Germany and a 1947 graduate of Lebanon High School. He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Lebanon, a 50 year charter member of the Annville-Cleona Lions Club, the State and Lebanon County Fireman's Association, Annville American Legion Post 559, Annville V.F.W., secretary of the State and local Sports Hall of Fame, charter member of the Republican National Committee, associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police, TPA of America, Cleona Fire Company, Newmanstown Athletic Club, and was an avid Penn State and Phillies Fan. Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a brother, Edwin Hostetter of Palmyra; two sisters, Pearl Hostetter of Lebanon and Janice wife, of Lloyd Kreider of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruth Hoffman, Dorothy Willis, Martha Sholly, and Kathryn Shoop. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon with Military Honors. Viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and also on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
