  WOMELSDORF Alma K. (Horst) Hurst, 83, went home to be with her Lord on October 
  5, 2011. She was the wife of John J. Hurst, to whom she was married 63 years. 
  She was born in New Holland, on July 4, 1928, a daughter of the late Milton 
  Horst and Lena Kurtz Zimmerman. She was a member of the Schaefferstown 
  Mennonite Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children, Harold 
  Hurst of Danville, Ruth, wife of Moses Yoder, Jr. of LaMonte, Mo., Daniel, 
  husband of Mary Jane (Nolt) Hurst of Bethel, Alma, wife of Barry Burkholder of 
  Womelsdorf, Lois Owens of Turbotville, Esther, wife of James Lapp of 
  Lewisburg, John, husband of Bonita (Stauffer) Hurst of Richland, Paul, husband 
  of Gloria (Stauffer) Hurst of Myerstown, Orpha, wife of Kenneth Zimmerman of 
  Lebanon, and Nelson, husband of Cindy (Martin) Hurst of Pelham, Ga.; 47 
  grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; brother, Milton K. Horst of New 
  Holland; sister, Lizzie K. Weaver of Illinois; stepsisters, Ada, wife of Ezra 
  Eby, and Mary Ella Eby, both of New Holland, Lizzie Horst of Ephrata, Alta 
  Hinkle and Anna Martin, both of Fleetwood, and Edna, wife of Willis Martin of 
  Missouri; and stepbrother, Irvin, husband of Anna (Rutt) Zimmerman of 
  Fleetwood. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Miriam Hurst; a 
  granddaughter; a great-granddaughter; and sister, Mary K. Good. Funeral 
  service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011, at 10 a.m. in the 
  Schaefferstown Mennonite Church, 625 N. Market St., Myerstown. Interment will 
  be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 
  to 8 p.m. at the church. Please omit flowers. Send cards and condolences to 
  John J. Hurst, 615 E. Walnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Clauser Funeral Home, 
  Inc. of Schaefferstown is handling her arrangements.
