M. shabodeho@aol.com May 28, 2011, 1:19 am Published in Lebanon Daily News on May 23, 2011 Donald E. Jarrett CLEONA Donald E. Jarrett, 84, died Saturday May 21, 2011 in the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Esther M. Henry Jarrett to whom he was married for 63 years. Born in Lancaster on August 10, 1926, he was the son of the late Albert and Clara Charles Jarrett. He was employed as a salesman for Bickel's Potato Chip Company for 20 years and a US Navy Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. Donald studied art at Flagler University, St. Augustine, Fla., was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Lebanon, a member of Mt. Olivet Lodge #704 F. & A.M., Harrisburg Consistory, and the Zembo Temple Shrine. He was an avid artist, gardener, and a veracious reader. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, D. Steven Jarrett of Palm Springs, Calif.; three daughters, Donna Jean wife of Michael F. Wahmann of Cleona, Tracy L. wife of Dr. George Rohrer of Northumberland, Cheryl L. wife of Brett Pallas of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Lesley Darrin, Justin Dosch, Andrew Dosch, Kevin Rohrer, Toni Marie Pallas, Brett Pallas, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Hill Church Cemetery, Cleona with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
