  MYERSTOWN Sylvia Johnson, 89, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Stoneridege 
  Towne Center, Myerstown. She was the wife of the late James Irving Johnson. 
  Sylvia was born in Philadelphia, on November 12, 1921. She was the daughter of 
  the late Isaac and Ida (Gorshowitz) Katz. She enjoyed traveling, camping and 
  shooting target archery with her husband. She was a United States Coast Guard 
  veteran of WWII. Sylvia is survived by two childen, Gary W. Johnson and Janice 
  I. Johnson. Private family services. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge 
  of arrangements.
